Binocular Stargazing Program
Join us for our newest program a night of stargazing with binoculars. A good pair of binoculars (provided) and your eyes are all that you need to explore the night sky. Our staff will teach you how to use binoculars and give you a tour of the evening sky. View planets, galaxies, star clusters, nebula and more. Learn how to navigate the night sky by using star charts. With a good pair of binoculars you will be amazed at what you can see.
We provide the binoculars and star charts, all you do is show up.
Bring your blanket and/or lounge chair.
This program is NOT held on Kitt Peak. It is held at Saguaro National Park West. Restrooms and drinking water are available. This program is held outdoors so please dress accordingly. This is a three hour program and contains some hands on activities.
A credit card is required to hold your reservation and will be charged the full amount in advance on the day of the event. Cards are not charged in the event of bad weather or for a canceled program.
You will be called the day of the event to confirm whether the program is a go or not.
This program is held at Saguaro National Park West. There is an additional park entrance fee that needs to be paid separate from the program fee; please see the link below.
